स्वदेशी जागरण मंच केंद्र में  मोदी सरकार के दो वर्ष पूरे होने पर जहाँ कई मुद्दों पर अच्छी पहल होने पर हार्दिक प्रसन्नता प्रगट करता है और वहीँ कुछ और भी अपेक्षाएं भी करता है। जहाँ हम चीन जैसी अर्थव्यवस्थायों को पछाड़ कर जीडीपी के इस तिमाही में 7.9% पर वृद्धि में भारत के आगे बढ़ने पर गर्व करते है वहीँ फ़ूड प्रोसेसिंग में और ई कॉमर्स में 100 प्रतिशत प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश को वापिस लेने का आग्रह करते है। सरकार ने जिन विदेशी कंपनियो को प्रतिबंधित करना था उनको पुरुस्कृत करने जैसा यह उल्टा कदम है।
इसी प्रकार से मंच मानता है कि सरकार द्वारा पारित नयी बौद्धिक सम्पदा अधिकार की  नीति घोषित करते हुए जहाँ कंपल्सरी लाइसेंसिंग एवं 3 (डी) जैसे भारत के लिए महत्वपूर्ण प्रावधानों पर अडिग रहने का साहस दिखाया है, वह प्रशंसनीय है। परंतु इस पर टिके रहना बहुत जरूरी है। भारतीय दवा उद्योग और विश्व भर के गरीब मरीजों का भविष्य इन्ही प्रावधानों से जुड़ा है। साथ ही स्वदेशी जागरण मंच अपेक्षा करता है कि केंद्र सरकार चीन से द्रुत गति से बढ़ते आयातों को रोकने हेतु दृढ़ कदम उठाये। ओप्पो व लेनोवा जैसे चीन निर्मित मोबाइल फोनो  से भारतीय बाजार पूरी तरह  अंटा पड़ा है। बिना गारंटी के सस्ते टायर भारतीय टायर उद्योग पर भारी पड़ रहे है और लोगों के जानमाल को भी जोखिम में डाल रहे है। सरकार को शीघ्र चीनी आयातों के विरुद्ध सख्त कदम उठाना चाहिए।
इसी प्रकार मंच केंद्र सरकार की भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा करता है कि सौर ऊर्जा के लक्ष्य को 22 गीगावॉटस से 100 गिगावॉट्स तक पहुँचाया है। दो साल में 3.3 से 9.3 गीगावाट तक सौर ऊर्जा उत्पादन को पहुंचाकर भारत को दुनियां में चौथे स्थान पर पहुचाया। परंतु चीन से सौर उपकरणों के आयात के विरुद्ध एंटी डंपिंग के प्रावधान को लागू न करना बड़ी भूल है जिसे सरकार जितनी जल्दी सुधारेगी, उतना भारतीय उद्योग का भला होगा।
जीएम फसलों पर परीक्षण पर बिना विदेशी दबाव के काम करने की जरूरत है। पर्यावरण रक्षण हेतु बुनियादी कदम उठाने की जरूरत है। गर्मी के रिकार्ड टूटना, जंगलो में आग लगना,  अति वृष्टि और सूखा पड़ना संकेत है कि प्राकृतिक संतुलन ठीक नहीं है। जब देश में सूखे के  कारण पानी के लिए इतनी हाहाकार मची हुई है तो क्यों ना कोकाकोला, और पेप्सी जैसे सॉफ़्ट विदेशी सॉफ़्ट ड्रिंक्स  उत्पादन स्थगित या पूर्णतया बंद किया जाए।  अभी हाल में भोपाल में आयोजित स्वदेशी जागरण मंच कि अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय परिषद् में  ऊपर उल्लेखित विषयों को लेकर तीन प्रस्तावों को पारित किया गया। साथ ही जॉनसन एंड जॉनसन के टेलकम पाउडर में ओवेरियन कैंसर फेलाने वाले खतरनाक तत्व पाये जाने के प्रति गहरी चिंता प्रगट की गयी और भारत सरकार से भी इसके खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाने का आग्रह किया गया। 
22 सितम्बर से 2 अक्टूबर (पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जयंती से प्राम्भ करके 2 अक्टूबर,  (महात्मा गांधी  जयंती ) तक " स्वदेशी सप्ताह" मनाया जायेगा। इस दौरान सभा-सम्मलेन, प्रदर्शन आदि  करके घर घर स्वदेशी की अलख जगाने का जोरदार अभियान लिया जायेगा।

Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) expresses deep satisfaction over some of the major economic reforms being initiated by the Modi Government at the centre as it completes two years but expects it to do even more in the times to come.  SJM is proud of the fact that India is the fastest growing economy in the world with GDP growth rate registering an impressive 7.9 percent at the end of recent fiscal quarter, beating China, however SJM demands that government should roll back the decisions to allow 100 percent FDI in E-Commerce and food processing retail sector as this has rewarded the foreign companies operating in these sectors in India instead of restricting them. ‘Manch’ also compliments the government for announcing the new national Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policy  and refrained itself from suggesting any changes to contentious provisions in the Patents Act, 1970, including Section 3(d) and compulsory licensing, despite under the huge pressure from the US and Big Pharma MNCs. It is hoped that government will show the similar courage and determination to ban or restrict phenomenally rising imports from China. Indian market is flushed from Chinese mobile brands like Oppo, Lenova, Xiaomi, OnePlus and many more. Cheap and warranty less Chinese tyres are being dumped in India which is posing a great threat not only to other alternative brands available in India but also to the lives and property of people.
Government should immediately take necessary steps to counter this Chinese imports. SJM appreciates that government has raised targeted generation capacity of the climate friendly solar power from 22 Gigawatts to 100 Gigawatts by 2022. It further believes that it is an outstanding achievement of the government to increase the installed capacity of solar power in last two years by 157 percent and making India one of the fastest growing solar power producing nation in the world. At the same time it will be the serious mistake not to impose anti-dumping measures over the solar equipment imports from China and sooner the government correct this mistake the better it will be for the domestic Indian industry. 

We reiterate our demand that GM crops be never allowed before proper verifications abpit it's effects on man, mother Nature and other flora  and foina. Moreover, the whole of the country is facing drought like conditions, and century's weather records of heat are breaking, it is very neessay that we take care of our environment and some basic steps are taken for it's betterment. The government should control  not close soft drinks units like Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola which are wasting so much prescious water. Recently, three resolutions related to above mentioned economic agenda were passed in the Akhil Bharatiy Rashtriy Parishad (SJM’s National Council) meeting in Bhopal. SJM has also expressed its deep concern over the reported incidence of Overian Cancer being caused by the use of talcum powder of international Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson in the USA and requests the Indian government to take some stringent measures in this direction.
SJM has decided to celebrate one week long “Swadeshi Saptah” from 22 September which is the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendyal Upadhyay to 2 October the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. During the week long celeberations meetings, seminars and demonstrations will be organised throughout the country to spread the message and spirit of ‘Swadeshi’.
