For the last 25 years Swadeshi Jagaran Manch is relentlessly and successfully safeguarding the country from the onslaught of WTO. But the recent threat from China is really intriguing.China is engaged in most aggressive hostilities against Bharat in economic as well as military arenas. Five threats from China are very conspicuous. Three challenges are usually well discussed namely, threat to employment , economy and security. But threat to health , say, environment and its global hegemonic designs are rarely discussed. Despite all these dangers, we have been economically empowering the Chinese economy by purchasing Chinese products, worth more than 4-5 lakh crores a year, leading to unabated industrial closures, large scale unemployment and wide trade deficit for the country, ranging between $45 to $52 billion a year in last 3 years, the highest and 45% of the country’s total deficit. Consequently, due to wide trade gap, the value of Rupee has sharply declined by 30% in 6 years, from Rs 50 in 2011 to Rs 65 per dollar now. Besides more than 300 industry verticals, 200 industry clusters and 3 lac small and medium scale units are facing imminent closure, whereby more than a crore persons may be rendered jobless either directly or indirectly. We are getting a good response to all our programmes of Rashtriya Swadeshi Sursksha Abhiyan. Over one crore people have expressed solidarity with the cause by signing our petition. On 29 October 2017 a mega rally will be held in Delhi at Ramlila grounds where people will participate from all the nooks and corners of the country.
